The thing about gratitude is that it is easy to give when it is accessible to you, it's often as beneficial for the person giving.

This is where to find your feet foundation differs it is driven by a person with such genuine compassion and an empathic nature, these good intentions make the foundation unique and relatable.

The concept is wonderful however it also relates to everyday people in life's situations.  

Having people invested emotionally in an organisation such as this can only result in success.

We found ourselves in a very precarious situation when we had to renew our Australian visa as we could not find a rental that would offer our family the flexibility that we needed.  Then we found the Find Your Feet Foundation and we were so glad that we did!  The foundation offered us the support and accommodation that we needed during this tumultuous time for our family.  It was so comforting to know that we could stay in a beautifully equipped home while we waited out the time necessary to get our visa finalised. 

We found solace in the outside vegetable garden and patio area on the days when things got tough.  Our 3 children were able to continue at the local school and attend University so they were not disturbed in the least.  My husband and I were able to set up an office so we could carry on working.  

We were able to walk to the grocery store and we were very close to public transport. The foundation was gracious enough to extend our stay during the Covid-19 pandemic as we would not have been able to find anywhere else to live during that time. 

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for providing this facility to families such as ours when we needed it the most.

I don’t think anyone is aware of how it feels to be an immigrant and displaced until it happens to you.

​

This experience has taught me that you cannot take anything in life for granted as your circumstances can change at any time.  It is wonderful to know that there are organisations out there that can help you get back onto your feet.

Thank you Find Your Feet Foundation, For being there for us. Facing homelessness with orphaned grandchildren was a frightening reality. The time we spent in the foundations beautiful " Good vibes" house, gave us the strength to move forward. The positive, supportive, kindness this foundation provided was amazing.  Please Donate & Support to this Community concerned, ethical, humane (treat people with "Dignity" foundation).  They actively extend "Hope" in situations of "Despair".
